To all our listeners:

By now, many of you are aware of the problems that have risen from the recent incarnation of our Hurt or Heal game. Despite our attempts to keep the game fair, an exploit was discovered that allowed players to bypass standard voting procedures. For the time being, we will not be reinstating the game; it has been proven to us through the actions of a select few that it would be better to simply let it go. To those who did play fairly, we thank you, and hope that you enjoyed the game while it lasted.

On a related note, we are aware that some of the pertinent information about the exploit and the persons involved, which should have been addressed in private, was taken to a public domain and aired. In this, some of our staff members have reacted in an unprofessional manner. We are deeply disappointed in how the situation was handled, and on behalf of the staff and crew of KJSR.net, we sincerely apologize for letting things get out of control. What we want now is to allow tempers to cool, and for parties on both sides to stop the slinging of false accusations that have been aimed towards crippling each other. It is only with reasonable minds and calm voices that this matter can be put behind us all. From here out, we will be handling the situation privately with only the parties directly involved.

Once again, we apologize for how we have handled the situation, and we will do our best to from here out to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

Sincerely,

The KJSR.net Staff

I thought the game was a fun idea. It saddened me that it got wrecked, twice even. However, as hard as “taking the high road” can be in the wake of things, I am heartened that you are putting a lid on this and handling it privately. Kudos.
